Tribal Fusion and East Indian Workshop

The workshop consists of:

40 MINUTES of warm up using yoga.

One and a half hours of tribal style fusion incorporating ATS, Yoga, and ethnofusion, focusting on isolations, pops, locks, and long lean moves, beautiful hands and good posture.

One hour of Classical Oddisi Dance (East Indian) - we work on the basics of posture of hands, legs. Stomping for nritya (rythm), mudras and hand symbolism, and basic classical dance sequences. PLEASE NOTE: This section is somewhat challenging. While I have simplified it a bit, note that you will be in turned "out position" (in ballet, this would be very much like position #2)the thighs turned out, and squatting. There will also be stoming which may be difficult on the knees. While I will not push anyone beyond their limits, you should note these requirements before signing up.
