We need YOU!

While Night of 1000 Goddesses, and other ChoveXani productions may appear polished works of theater and dance, the daily reality of these works is that they are fueled solely through the grassroots efforts of Zan Asha and her dancers....the quiet tenacity of 4 or 5 ordinary artists is all that keeps these works afloat....the strong belief that art, dance, artists, and the beauty of the creativity can still overcome beaurocracy and the banality of daily life is all that keeps these projects going.

In most cases, these projects come out of meager incomes funded by second or third jobs; the lack of arts funding in New York (if not America) seriously limits the great potential of these works.

We are hoping to pay 7-12 dancers well for their efforts, plus a small crew of lighting and set designers. Estimated cost: $1,500.

We need you to make this minor dream a reality.
